Where do I apply for an Australian passport?

In Australia, you can apply for a passport at most Australia Post outlets or, in special circumstances and after you have telephoned the Australian Passport Information Service for an appointment on 131 232, at a Passport Office. Australia Post outlets are usually more convenient because they are near your home or your place of business.
