Paying your passport application fee in Australia
When you lodge your passport application in Australia, you'll need to pay a fee. The payment method will depend on where you're lodging your application.
At Australia Post, you can pay by EFTPOS, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX or cash.
Passport offices accept EFTPOS, MasterCard, and Visa only. They don’t accept cash payments.
Paying your passport application fee overseas
When you're overseas, you'll usually need to pay your passport application fee in the local currency. This will be the same amount in Australian dollars.
Fees are usually paid by EFTPOS or credit card.
