Replacing your passport after a natural disaster
If you lose or damage your passport in a natural disaster, you may be eligible to have the application fee for your replacement passport waived.
Your replacement passport’s expiry date will generally be the same as the date on your lost or damaged passport.
When you contact us, we’ll ask for some basic information to confirm your identity and that you were in a declared disaster area.

The nearest passport office will call you back to help you get a new passport.
