In special circumstances, you can lodge your passport application at a passport office. This service is by appointment only. To make an appointment, contact us.
When your passport or travel document is ready, we'll mail it to you unless you’ve asked to pick it up. If you're picking up your passport, you'll collect it from your nearest passport office.
Australian passport offices are closed on Australian national public holidays. On state- and territory-based public holidays, only those state or territory passport offices will be closed.
